Our Maze is just the beginning…! Enjoy a day of outdoor fun with family, friends and even your furry companions. Challenge each other to our Summer Games, relax at Brailsfords first beach, enjoy delicious food and drink or simply take in the stunning surroundings.
Whether you’re spending the whole day with us or just stopping by for a few hours, there really is something for everyone here at Maze 52!
The Games
New for this year at Maze 52, take part in our FREE Summer Games Challenge! Gather the whole family, pick up a scorecard and put your skills to the test with a collection of nostalgic lawn games. From Bean Bag Toss to a Swingball Showdown, complete every challenge before striking your best pose at Photo Finish.
Hand in your completed scorecard to claim your prize and enjoy the simple pleasure of old-fashioned outdoor fun. It's nostalgic, screen-free entertainment the whole family will love. Let the games begin!
The Beach
Introducing Brailsford's very first beach! Sink your toes into real sand, relax in our traditional striped deckchairs, build sandcastles with buckets and spades, and soak up all the charm of a classic British seaside holiday without leaving Derbyshire!
Don't forget to snap a few photos while you're here, it's the perfect spot for making summer memories.
Best of all, it's all included with your Maze 52 admission.

And the fun doesn't stop there! There's even more to enjoy at Maze 52, with our Mini Golf challenge, giant hay bales perfect for climbing, jumping and exploring, plus our on-site children's climbing frame for little adventurers who still have energy to burn.
Whether you're challenging the family to a round of golf, scrambling over hay bales or simply letting the kids run free, Maze 52 is packed with adventure from start to finish.
DOGS WELCOME
Your four-legged friends can join in the summer fun too! Here’s what you need to know:

🌽 Full access to wildflower fields & communal areas
🚫 No entry inside the maze
🌽 Bonus: We’ve got a dog park with dog agility facilities for some extra tail-wagging fun!

Tips For your Visit
🌽 Pre-booking tickets recommended
When booking entry for a set date, please ensure you book the correct date and time.
🌽 Book EARLY
To guarantee the date you want, book online in advance. We offer online tickets at a discount to the gate tickets so it is cheaper to book ahead.
🌽 Wheelchair access
The maze pathways are suitable for both push and wheelchairs. Wet weather can make the pathways muddy and hard work but if you don’t mind a bit of mud, go for it!
🌽 Children
We ask that children are supervised by an adult whilst in the mazes.
🌽 Free Parking
We have a car park and free parking on site.
🌽 Dogs
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and please clean up after them. We have a Play Area designed for our furry friends to enjoy too! Dogs are not allowed in the maize mazes but we welcome them in all other areas.
🌽 Wet weather & wellies
Please remember you will be walking around a field! So wear suitable footwear and keep an eye on the weather. On rainy days, if we have had very heavy rain we may have to close the mazes.
🌽 Please stay on the paths!
It might be tempting to take a short cut through the plants, but they can get easily damaged so we ask you stay on the paths.
