The Maze’s
The Mega Maze
Take on the Mega Maze and navigate your way through towering rows of maize, completing games and challenges as you go. With even more twists, turns and dead ends than ever before, see if you can conquer it without a map!
Featuring a brand-new design, our Mega Maze covers an impressive 7 acres and takes around 45 minutes to complete. Whether you're racing against each other or simply enjoying the outdoor adventure, think you've got what it takes?
The Mini Maze
Our Mini Maze is packed with interactive fun as you make your way around the trail! Designed with younger adventurers in mind.
Around every corner you'll discover games and challenges to solve together, making every twist and turn part of the adventure.
Whether you're warming up for the main maze or simply looking for an activity the whole family will enjoy, the Mini Maze is guaranteed to keep everyone smiling.
Pick you own Wildflowers
As a family run arable farm we are thrilled to be able to offer visitors the opportunity to pick their own wildflowers and sunflowers. Did you know…you can come to Maze 52 just to pick our wild flowers?
Come along, soak up the beautiful surroundings and pick your own beautiful bouquet to take home. A wholesome, feel-good day out the whole family will love.

The Beach
Introducing Brailsford's very first beach! Sink your toes into real sand, relax in our traditional striped deckchairs, build sandcastles with buckets and spades, and soak up all the charm of a classic British seaside holiday without leaving Derbyshire!

The Games
New for this year at Maze 52, take part in our FREE Summer Games Challenge! Gather the whole family, pick up a scorecard and put your skills to the test with a collection of nostalgic lawn games. From Bean Bag Toss to a Swingball Showdown, complete every challenge before striking your best pose at Photo Finish.
Hand in your completed scorecard to claim your prize and enjoy the simple pleasure of old-fashioned outdoor fun. It's nostalgic, screen-free entertainment the whole family will love. Let the games begin!

And the fun doesn't stop there! There's even more to enjoy at Maze 52, with our Mini Golf challenge, giant hay bales perfect for climbing, jumping and exploring, plus our on-site children's climbing frame for little adventurers who still have energy to burn.

Your four-legged friends can join in the summer fun too! Here’s what you need to know:

Tips For your Visit
🌽 Pre-booking tickets recommended
When booking entry for a set date, please ensure you book the correct date and time.
🌽 Book EARLY
To guarantee the date you want, book online in advance. We offer online tickets at a discount to the gate tickets so it is cheaper to book ahead.
🌽 Wheelchair access
The maze pathways are suitable for both push and wheelchairs. Wet weather can make the pathways muddy and hard work but if you don’t mind a bit of mud, go for it!
🌽 Children
We ask that children are supervised by an adult whilst in the mazes.
🌽 Free Parking
We have a car park and free parking on site.
🌽 Dogs
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and please clean up after them. We have a Play Area designed for our furry friends to enjoy too! Dogs are not allowed in the maize mazes but we welcome them in all other areas.
🌽 Wet weather & wellies
Please remember you will be walking around a field! So wear suitable footwear and keep an eye on the weather. On rainy days, if we have had very heavy rain we may have to close the mazes.
🌽 Please stay on the paths!
It might be tempting to take a short cut through the plants, but they can get easily damaged so we ask you stay on the paths.
How to get here?
🚲 Walking & Cycling
We are all for sustainable travel to our venue so would encourage you to walk or cycle to us with plenty of space to park your bike on-site.
🚌 Public Transport
It's easy to reach Maze 52 by bus too! Located on the edge of the A52, the 'Swift Service' runs regularly between Derby and Uttoxeter via Ashbourne and stops right outside. It couldn't be easier. Visit the Trent Barton Website for more information.
🚗 Driving
Located just off the A52 near Ednaston, between Ashbourne & Derby. Use the postcode DE6 3AU but keep an eye out for the road signs on the A52 before you turn off.

You’ve bought your tickets, so we don’t believe you should have to pay extra to park. We offer plenty of on-site parking and it’s barely a stone’s throw away for the entrance.
